What happens to my application when a job is closed or unpublished?

If you applied to a job on Get on Board as a professional, your application does not disappear if the job changes status after you apply.

Closed vs. unpublished

• Closed means the company ended the hiring process for that role.
• Unpublished means the job is hidden from new applicants but stays visible in your list while the company reviews it internally.

What happens to your application

Your application remains in your Applications dashboard. You can still open it to review messages and details, and you may receive updates if the company decides to move forward or reply.

If the process is closed, you might not hear back. If you need clarity, send a message from your application.
